This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, process, and protect your information when you visit our website, use our Cloud ERP, interact with our IoT hardware (like the Smart School Bell), or download and use our Mobile Applications from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

We collect information to provide better services to all our users—from basic account setup to complex campus automation:
- Personal & Institutional Information: When you register for an account or request a demo, we collect your name, email address, phone number, school/institution name, and administrative roles.
- Student & Staff Data (ERP Users): As a data processor, our ERP system stores student records, attendance logs, exam scores, and fee payment details entered by the school administration. The school remains the sole owner of this data.
- IoT Hardware Data: For devices like the Smart School Bell, we store your customized time schedules, routine configurations, and uploaded audio/MP3 files on our secure cloud servers.
- Device & Usage Information: When using our mobile app, we automatically collect device-specific information (hardware model, OS version, unique device identifiers) and app crash logs to improve functionality.
2. Mobile App Permissions
To ensure seamless connectivity between our mobile application and IoT devices, the app may request the following permissions on your device:

Storage / Media Access: Required strictly to allow users to select and upload custom MP3 audio files to the Smart Bell hardware.

Network & Wi-Fi Access: Required to detect, pair, and synchronize schedules locally with our IoT hardware endpoints without manual IP configuration.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your institutional or personal data to marketing agencies. Your data is only shared under the following conditions:
- Service Providers: We use trusted cloud infrastructure (like AWS) to host your data securely.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, valid court order, or government request in India.
5. Data Retention & Account Deletion
In strict compliance with global privacy standards and Google Play Store Data Safety Policies, users and institutions hold complete control over their data footprint.
How to request Data Deletion:
You can request the complete deletion of your account, uploaded audio files, and all associated personal data at any time.
- Open the School Solutions Mobile App or Web Dashboard.
- Navigate to Settings > Account Security.
- Click on "Delete My Account & Data".
- Alternatively, you can email info@schoolsolutions.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". All data is permanently purged within 30 days of the request.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA/FERPA)
Our software is designed for use by school administrators, educators, and parents. We do not independently collect data directly from children under the age of 13. All student data stored in our ERP is inputted by the authorized educational institution. It is the responsibility of the client school to obtain appropriate parental consent before entering student data into our system.

We implement enterprise-grade security to protect your data. This includes 256-bit SSL encryption for data transmission, secure token-based API authentication for mobile apps, and automated daily database backups. While we strive for 100% security, no electronic storage system is completely impenetrable.
